Please join us in a conversation and reading with Sooke region author and Governor General’s Literary Award winner Darrel J. McLeod, author of “Mamaskatch: A Cree Coming of Age”. Thursday, September 12th, 6:30 – 8:00 p.m., Sooke Region Museum Pavilion, 2070 Phillips Road, Sooke. This is a free event but please RSVP so we can prepare for you.

Write Your Story: A memoir writing workshop with award-winning author Darrel J. McLeod.

This free workshop is sponsored by the Federation of BC Writers and Sooke Region Historical Society. Saturday, September 14, 9:30 am – 12:30 pm, Sooke Region Museum Pavilion. Bring a pen, a notebook and your memories. Space is limited. Please register at: bcwriters.ca/events-for-writers
