In Celebration of National Poetry Month 2023
April was National Poetry Month and ten SWC poets worked over several months to create a new poetry chapbook: Beyond the Moment - Writing from the edge of the Salish Sea.
Please join us on Thursday, May 11th at the Sooke Library for our launch with readings from some of the poets. Doors open at 6:45 pm, readings begin at 7pm.

Our Mission
To provide support, connection, inspiration and encouragement to writers* at all levels of development in the Sooke region through membership services which include monthly meetings and community outreach in the form of student writing contests, workshops and readings.
*please note this group is for adults
