Members!  There’s only 5 months to the next anthology deadline! Anthology #6 will be appearing in the spring of 2019. Get writing and get feedback from the group.  Sessions can be booked at any time.

Write for the Stage and Screen

Calling all playwrights and screenwriters in Sooke! A new group is forming wth Sheila taking the lead. They had their first meeting in October and will meet again on Thursday, November 1st at 6:30 pm in the Sooke A&W.  Brainstorm, learn and get support & feedback  for your writing with a strong enthusiastic community of writers.

Get Poetic

The poetry group will be meeting Tuesday, November 20th, 6:30 at the library. Bring what you’re working on.

A target for poets:

Back by popular demand, The Coast Collective is looking for POEMS for their 2019 Poetry and Artwork Exhibition:

For this show, we are inviting poets to send in their poems, which will be interpreted by artists in their 2D or 3D medium of choice. The artist will create artwork inspired by their poem of choice, and the poem and artwork will be displayed in the gallery together. This show will run April 3-14, 2019 during National Poetry Month 2019.

Deadline to Submit Poems: November 28, 2018
Poets Notified of Interpreted Works: March 15, 2019
