♦ SWC anthologies and memberships will be available for purchase at the The Biggest, Little Craft Fair on November 24th (9 am to 4 pm). Drop by and see what we do.
♦ Short stories, poetry, memoir, essay and other creative word combinations are in development for our sixth anthology due out in the spring of 2019.
♦ The poetry group will be meeting Tuesday, November 20th, 6:30 at the library. Bring what you’re working on.
♦ The playwrights group is in development. If you have an interest in play writing the next meeting is on Thursday, December 6th at the A&W, 6:30pm
Our next group meeting will be Wednesday, December 5th at 6:30 in the library. Discussion: planning a writerly 2019, publishing, creating a platform
Our Mission
To provide support, connection, inspiration and encouragement to writers* at all levels of development in the Sooke region through membership services which include monthly meetings and community outreach in the form of student writing contests, workshops and readings.
