We are a community of writers working on our craft. We support each other through meetings, conversations about the writing life, feedback sessions, information sharing and workshops. New members are welcome!
Sooke XO is our latest anthology – and our tenth. It is made up of stories and poems from twenty-seven SWC members as well as two winning student entries. We began publishing the anthology as a way to raise funds for our student writing contest, gatherings and events.
Many of our members are published via writing contests, literary magazines, self publishing as well as traditional publishers. Watch for publication lists coming soon.
In Sooke, our books can be found in the Sooke Region Museum gift shop and the Gallery by Sooke Arts Council.
