Authors Fair – A Sooke Literary Event!

In the Sooke Library, Oct 1st, noon to 4pm.

Sooke’s first self-published author fair happens on October 1, noon-4 pm at the Vancouver Island Regional Library Sooke Branch. Twenty-five authors from the East Sooke to Port Renfrew region have signed up to participate.

“Most participating authors have published their own books, and we have a few who are published in Sooke Writers’ Collective anthologies,” said organizer and local writer Doni Eve. “There’s a terrific range and variety of work including novels, non-fiction, memoir, children’s books, sci-fi and fantasy, and poetry.”

The fair is being organized by local writer Doni Eve, working with Sooke Writers’ Collective and April Ripley of Vancouver Island Regional Library’s Sooke branch.

The October 1 event will feature writers, book sales, and author readings. It takes place at 6671 Wadams Way in Sooke. There is no cost to attend.
