FBCW Annual Literary Writes Contest
THE FEDERATION OF BRITISH COLUMBIA WRITERS: 2016 LITERARY WRITES
The Federation of British Columbia Writers invites poets and authors from everywhere to submit to the annual Literary Writes Awards. Winners in each of four categories – fiction, creative non-fiction, poetry and writing for children – will be published in the Fed’s quarterly magazine, WordWorks, as well as receiving a year’s membership in the FBCW and a $100 cash prize. Winners announced on March 17, 2016. All submitted work must be original, unpublished, and not awaiting publication anywhere. No more than three poems per entry; maximum length for each poem 50 lines (including spaces). Entries must be sent by email only to submissions@bcwriters.ca. It is not necessary to be a FBCW member to participate in Literary Writes. There is no submission fee.
