Sooke TypesYou are invited to join the Sooke Writers’ Collective on Thursday May 19th to launch the new book Sooke Types – Sooke Writers’ Collective Anthology Three. This exciting collection of poetry, story, memoir and more also contains the five winning entries from EMCS student writers. Sooke Types highlights the many types of writing, storytelling and writers in our region.

All are welcome to attend to get the first look at the new anthology, meet the Collective and hear some of our members read.

To provide support, connection, inspiration and encouragement to writers* at all levels of development in the Sooke region through membership services which include monthly meetings and community outreach in the form of student writing contests, workshops and readings.
