This is an open call to poets to submit writing for this upcoming invitational fine art show. All written works will be distributed to a group of invited artists to create accompanying visual art. Poems and art will be displayed side by side for this exhibit. Poets will be invited to present their poems and artists will be invited to explain their visual interpretations of the writing at our opening reception on Saturday, September 12th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.

To provide support, connection, inspiration and encouragement to writers* at all levels of development in the Sooke region through membership services which include monthly meetings and community outreach in the form of student writing contests, workshops and readings.
